Moscow to Host BRICS Science and Business Representatives

On October 5–6, 2026, the Moscow Innovation Cluster "Lomonosov" will host the International TechnoScientific Educational Forum with BRICS countries participation (TNF)—a platform for collaboration among representatives from education, science, technology, and business, for knowledge exchange and development of joint innovation projects. The event is aimed at implementing strategic initiatives defined by the Presidential Decree on scientific-technological development and sustainable development of the country.

The Forum is part of the eponymous TechnoScientific Educational Platform—an international alliance for dialogue among BRICS states in the fields of education, science, and technology. The platform's objectives include strengthening international educational and scientific cooperation, supporting youth research and project activities, showcasing BRICS countries' developments, and fostering interaction among universities, technology parks, and scientific and educational institutions.

Forum to bring together over 3,000 participants

The TNF's main goal is to establish long-term international partnerships among government structures, the scientific community, business, and youth from BRICS countries by strengthening Russia's role in the global scientific-technological agenda, developing joint research, exchanging expertise and promoting innovative solutions aligned with sustainable development goals, as well as attracting investment in innovation and educational initiatives.

The forum is expected to draw more than 3,000 representatives from 10 countries, including delegations from government authorities, universities, research institutes, the business community, young scientists, and students. The business program will feature 40 thematic tracks and over 20 discussion platforms. Additionally, the exhibition zone will host more than 100 exhibitors.

Invited speakers at the forum include representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, relevant ministries and agencies, heads of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, universities, as well as international scientific and business associations from BRICS countries.

TNF will become an interactive space uniting science, education, and creativity, where schoolchildren, students, young scientists, and experts can work together on pressing challenges—from artificial intelligence and green technologies to biodiversity conservation and digital sovereignty—through unique educational and cultural initiatives, including a simulation of the "BRICS Youth Council" session and the "BRICS: The Language of Science and Fairy Tales" festival.

The forum will also feature the presentation of the international "BRICS+ Women in Science and Technology" award, recognizing the contributions of women researchers from BRICS countries to scientific and technological progress. The award covers areas including socio-economic development and entrepreneurship, education and digital practices, medicine and biotechnology, science and technology for sustainable development, as well as cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
