Dmitry Mikhailovich Nazarov is a Russian scientist and expert in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analysis, and digital economy, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor and Head of the Departments of Business Informatics and Information Security at Ural State University of Economics.
He received his higher education at the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of Nizhny Tagil State Pedagogical Institute. Subsequently, he continued his scientific and teaching activities, focusing on the intersection of scientific fields including economics, data analysis, and information technology.
His scientific work is related to the development of data analysis methods, fuzzy management models, and intelligent systems. He is the author and co-author of a number of textbooks and teaching materials on Data Science, business analytics, and information technology, published by leading Russian publishers (Piter, Knorus, IPR Media, Infra-M). He has more than 300 scientific publications (h-index 17), including works indexed in the international databases Web of Science and Scopus (h-index 6).
He is an expert of the Russian Academy of Sciences and a number of other government agencies.
He regularly appears in the media and at professional expert forums, commenting on issues of economic digitalization, artificial intelligence development, and educational transformation. He is known as an expert who can explain complex technological and economic processes in clear and accessible language.
He is a laureate of awards in the fields of information technology and education, including awards from the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region, as well as holder of departmental honors for his contribution to the development of education and personnel training.
He lives and works in Yekaterinburg. His professional interests are focused in the areas of artificial intelligence, data analysis, digital economy, and training of new generation specialists.
